Hi I'm Tanya, and I'm a Apostolic darling, spirit-led writer, teacher, daughter, sister,  friend and most importantly, servant of the King of Kings and I live to glorify His name. I was born and raised in Mississippi, growing up I spent much of  my time traveling with my family to the back hills of the country and  those summers were some of the best times of my childhood. That’s probably why you will always see a strong sense of love, family values as well as solid friendships peppered throughout the work God has entrusted to me.

I was nine when I realized I was a writer, though I'd been scribbling stories since I was seven. I was sitting in math class watching a baby bird on the windowsill.  He looked how I must of felt...vulnerable. He eventually flew away and in that moment I penned a poem titled, "Unconditional Love"  and I've not put my pen down since.  Of course the school year was out before I realized I didn't have to be in math to write. Hence, why I have to use a calculator to this day. :) So that's where it all began for me really; with a plethora of poetry, a pocketful of songs, a few remissions of a play, a dozen short stories and finally the novels that grace your bookshelves. :)

I spent many a day in my formative years reading whatever I could get my hands on, Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys mysteries were some of my favorites. 

Anywho, so you know I like to read and write. I love God's word and His people,  newborn babies, 24, driving, cooking and caramel fraps. I don't read as much as I'd like but it hasn't stopped me from buying more books.

While I have not always been faithful in what God has called me to do, I thank Him for the promise of restoration and the path it took to get me here.

When I'm not working you can generally find me serving on the ministerial staff at my local assembly. I'm blessed to be a part of a bible-teaching, Christ centered ministry that teaches the unadulterated WORD of God with clarity. One Lord. One Faith. One Baptism. Humph! I love me some Jesus.
